Starfield Delayed Again, Now Set for September 6th

Bethesda’s highly anticipated sci-fi RPG, Starfield, has been delayed once again, with the new release date set for September 6th. Originally planned for the first half of this year, the game was previously pushed back from November 11th, 2022.

Starfield Direct Presentation Scheduled for June 11th

In addition to the new release date, Bethesda has announced a Starfield Direct presentation scheduled for June 11th. The game was notably absent from Xbox’s Developer Direct event in January, as Microsoft opted to give Starfield its own dedicated spotlight.

Excitement Builds for Starfield

Game director Todd Howard expressed excitement for the upcoming release, stating, “There’s so much that we still have to show you. The game has many of the hallmarks that you’d expect from us, but it’s also a very unique experience.” The announcement video also featured new gameplay clips, including a battle with an alien.

Looking Ahead to E3 and Redfall

The Starfield Direct presentation will follow Xbox and Bethesda’s annual summer showcase, just before E3. It remains unclear whether Microsoft will have an official presence at the expo this year. Meanwhile, Bethesda is gearing up for the release of the co-op vampire hunting title, Redfall, in May.
