Microsoft to Bring Call of Duty and PC Games to a Hip Cloud Service

Microsoft is Making Moves in Gaming Industry
Microsoft is working hard to convince antitrust regulators that its planned acquisition of Activision Blizzard won’t negatively affect competition in the gaming world. As part of this effort, the company has announced a 10-year deal with Boosteroid, a cloud gaming provider, to stream Activision’s PC games if the acquisition goes through.
Recent partnerships with Boosteroid, Nintendo, and Nvidia show Microsoft’s commitment to expanding the Call of Duty franchise to different platforms. This strategic move aims to address concerns raised by regulators in the EU, UK, and US, while also strengthening Microsoft’s gaming business and game library.
Boosteroid, known as the largest independent cloud gaming service globally, offers multi-device streaming and supports games from platforms like Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net, and Origin. With popular titles such as Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Call of Duty: Warzone in its diverse library, Boosteroid operates servers in multiple countries across Europe and the US.
