Konami and Bloober Team join forces to recreate the eerie world of Silent Hill

A new Silent Hill remake is currently in development, as announced during Konami’s Press Start stream. The reveal included an image teasing another game in the franchise by developer Bloober Team, set to modernize the original 1999 entry with music from the first game in the series.
Bloober Team’s involvement with Konami’s intellectual property was first hinted at in February, with the successful release of a remake of Silent Hill 2, which quickly sold over 2 million copies and garnered critical acclaim. The decision to revisit the game that started it all seems like a natural progression for the collaboration between the two companies.
Details about the upcoming Silent Hill remake, such as its release date, are still under wraps. However, fans can look forward to the release of Silent Hill f on September 25, marking the first game in the series to be set in Japan. Additionally, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of MGS 3, is set to launch on August 28 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, featuring a brand-new multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt.
Konami’s showcase also featured other exciting announcements, including Suikoden Star Leap, a new RPG adventure, and upgrades for Suikoden I&II HD Remasters on Nintendo Switch 2. Action RPG Edens Zero, based on a popular manga and anime, released a demo, while Darwin’s Paradox offered a glimpse into an action-adventure platformer where players control an octopus.
