‘Alan Wake Remastered’ now released on the Switch

The remastered version of Alan Wake is now available on the Nintendo eShop, just in time for Halloween. Originally released for various platforms in October 2021, including Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox X|S, the cult classic has made its way to the Switch as well. Alan Wake Remastered, along with all its DLCs, can be purchased for $30 / €30 / £25 on the eShop, currently with a 20 percent launch discount.
Story-Driven Horror Adventure
Alan Wake is a story-driven action adventure game that follows a thriller novelist searching for his missing wife in a small town. After witnessing her being taken by a mysterious force and losing consciousness, he wakes up a week later to discover a manuscript he doesn’t remember writing coming to life with supernatural events unfolding.
Digital Download Only for Switch
The horror game will only be available as a digital download for the Switch, with no plans for physical copies to be released for the console. Additionally, Remedy Entertainment is already working on a sequel to Alan Wake, set to be launched in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. While details of the sequel’s plot remain undisclosed, a teaser released last year offers a glimpse of the eerie setting players can expect.
