‘Hyenas’ – A New Team Shooter Game by the Makers of ‘Alien: Isolation’
Creative Assembly, known for games like Alien: Isolation and Total War, is diving into multiplayer action with Hyenas. This team-based shooter, set to release in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PCs, draws inspiration from tech headlines while keeping a lighthearted approach to gameplay.
In Hyenas, players form three-person teams to raid spaceship shopping malls for loot left behind by Mars billionaires. Competing against four other teams, players must navigate security systems, hired goons, and zero-gravity challenges. With the ability to manipulate gravity, use special abilities like bridge-making goo, and encounter quirky items like Richard Nixon masks and Sonic the Hedgehog merch, Hyenas promises a fun and unconventional gaming experience.
Interested players can sign up for a closed alpha test on PCs, with the assurance that there will be no “pay to win” systems. While cosmetic items may be available for purchase, success in Hyenas will be based purely on skill.
