Nintendo Switch Online adds 4 rad Genesis games, including Ghouls ’n Ghosts!

The Nintendo Switch Online library just got a bit beefier with the addition of four classic Sega Genesis titles. Now, you can play Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, The Revenge of Shinobi, Landstalker, and Crusader of Centy, along with around 30 pre-existing Genesis titles and many more NES, SNES, and Game Boy releases. Yes, Sonic and Mario are friends now.

Classic Sega Genesis Titles Added
For those unfamiliar, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts is a tough-as-nails platformer, The Revenge of Shinobi is an OG ninja-simulation game, Landstalker is a cult-favorite action RPG, and Crusader of Centy is a well-reviewed Zelda clone. The inclusion of Crusader of Centy is a big deal for retro gaming enthusiasts since physical copies are selling for thousands of dollars. Subscription Options
These new Genesis titles are only available with the $50-yearly Expansion Pack subscription, which also gives you access to N64 and Game Boy Advance titles. If you prefer to stick to NES, SNES, and Game Boy releases, you can opt for the cheaper standard NSO subscription at $20 per year. Keep in mind that Nintendo doesn’t release games quickly, so make sure to check the full library before subscribing.
